The PERCEPTION group coordinates the European POP project (Percpetion on Purpose). This project is funded by the European Commission under the Cogntive Systems strategic objective.

The main goal of POP is to investigate new theories and methods for understanding percpetual attention (visual and auditory); The research will be carried out by an interdisciplinary consortium covering the following topics: neurophysiology, cognitive neuroscience, computer vision, auditory and speech analysis, computer vision, statistics, and control theory.
