Valentin was born on April 8, 1960 in Bucharest. He is the son of Fromy and Clarisa Moreno. He is married to Irina Moreno (born Horodniceanu). Valentin graduated in 1985 with a degree in Automotive Engineering. He immigrated to Israel in February 1987. Valentin earned his M.Sc. from the Technion in Haifa. He is currently employed as Key Account Manager by ZF, a global automotive supplier. His hobbies include jazz and table tennis.
