Shmuel was born on March 13, 1974 in Haifa, Israel. He received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1993 and a MS degree in Engineering in 2003, both from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa. He is a professional electrical engineer for low and high voltage installations.
Shmuel is a lieutenant commander in the Israeli Navy.
He is married with Tali Shaul in 2002. Their first child, Eden-Dina, was born on March 11, 2004.
They live in Zichron Yaakov, a little town situated about 35 km South to Haifa.
Shmuel plays on recorder and on saxophone, and he likes photography.
