Sandu Horodniceanu (1921-1985)

Sandu was born on September 22, 1921 in Bucharest.

He was the only child of Isac and Rosa Horodniceanu.

Sandu graduated from the Medical School in 1945. He earned his PhD in 1964.

Sandu has published over 60 scientific papers. He conducted studies related to the medical and psychological effects of the Holocaust survivors and their offspring in both clinical and non-clinical groups.

This picture was taken in Bucharest around 1980.

Sandu died suddenly on December 15, 1985 in Bucharest at the age of 64 (same age as his father).
