PERCEPTIONMembersDaniel WEINLAND
Daniel WEINLAND

Since Dec. 2004 I am a PhD candidate in the Perception team at INRIA Rhone-Alpes, working under the supervision of Edmond Boyer and Remi Ronfard. My major research interests are machine learning and computer vision. In particular I am interested in learning and recognizing human actions/activities from video sequences.
Before coming to INRIA, I worked as a research assistant at the University of Mannheim in the CVGPR-Group, where I also did my diploma thesis on "Kernel Based Learning of Distances for Shape Detection".
